A native of San Paulo, Brazil, Rod grew up supporting his local club Palmeiras, one of Brazil’s biggest clubs.

As a 12-year-old he joined their Youth Academy where he learned and developed a silky skill set and accomplished ball control.

After being introduced to Futsal he continued to further expand his ball mastery and spent the next few seasons playing at CCPL, a leading futsal organisation.

Moving to Australia in 2012, his focus transferred towards coaching and in 2015 Rodrigo joined The Football Factory as our senior ‘skills’ coach where today he shares his knowledge and passion with all who want to learn how to develop skills like the Brazilians.

Having completed his FFA ‘C’ Licence, he has coached at junior and senior levels in both Men’s and Women’s competitions locally and nationally.

Terry has been a “football tragic” all his life. A former Youth representative, he signed as a semi-professional player at the age of 17.

After his playing career Terry decided that he wanted to do his part to inspire and train the next generation of footballers and set his sights on obtaining his AFC/FFA C Class coaching license. Since obtaining this license he has held numerous positions with NPL clubs, Grassroots clubs, Schools, and Football NSW.

With a belief and understanding that the game of Football is a heavily skills based activity, Terry’s football philosophy is to focus and drive early development of ball mastery, skills acquisition and technique in conjunction with the intellectual impacts such as decision making, vision and anticipation etc. to create a holistic approach to junior player development.

Today he continues to pour his passion into development through The Football Factory’s programs where he fulfills a desire to make a difference, where he shares his wealth of knowledge and experience with the next generation of budding footballers.
