Goalkeeper Training

Improve your key skills to enable you to become the best goalkeeper you can be. Our outstanding coaches focus on all key elements of a goalkeepers needs

The Football Factory has now opened a GOALKEEPER TRAINING PROGRAM.

“Football is a team sport, until the goalkeeper makes a mistake and then it becomes an individual game”.

[Alex Welsh, Goalkeeper Coach, Arsenal FC]

One of the most exciting qualities of being a goalkeeper is that they are often in the spotlight. They can be a hero or a villain, yet are often taken for granted in many teams.

The football goalkeeper is one of the most important players on the field – they are the last line of defence and the first line of attack. To play the position well requires special skills and training.

Here at Football Factory we believe in giving special attention to the often-neglected position of the goalie. All training will be held by professional, highly qualified, engaging staff and will focus on areas such as…

  • Footwork
  • Positioning
  • Handling
  • Shot-stopping, inc. diving
  • Dealing with crosses
  • Organising your defence
  • 1 v 1 s
  • Distribution

On match-day a Goalkeeper’s warm-up may consist of just picking the ball out of the net whilst the coach focusses on the rest of the team. At The Football Factory we have the time, the energy and the experience to develop goalkeepers of all ages and levels to reach their full potential.

Please note, the office cannot accept bookings without payment and the waiver signed.
